ASME SA213 This specification covers seamless ferritic and austenitic steel boiler, superheater, and heat-exchanger tubes, designated Grades T5, TP304, TP316L, etc. 

ASTM A213 TP316L is a low carbon variant of grade 316 stainless steel. TP316L stainless steel has a low carbon content and therefore has excellent corrosion resistance. It resists corrosion in a variety of environments, including harsh chemicals and chlorine-containing solutions.

In addition, TP316L can withstand high temperatures and is suitable for applications involving high temperatures such as heat exchangers, boilers and refineries.
