Design standard: BS 7069
Principle: 1. Abrasive pad, consisting of a random nylon web impregnated with phenoli resin and aluminium oside2) 70+/-5mm long x 30+/-5mm wide x approximately 5 mm thick bonded to a rigid plastics block, of similar dimensions, suitably loaded to apply a total downward force of 15.0+/-0.2N to the pad 2. Reciprocating support, for mounting the item of cookware under test , capable of controlled horizontal movement of the item of 100+/-5mm in each direction at an average speed of 6.5+/-0.2m/min.
