Applications:

DIN Type Abrasion Tester is to measure the abrasion resistance of rubbers (vulcanized thermoset rubbers and thermoplastic elastomers) that are subject to abrasive/frictional wear in their actual service, such as tires, conveyor drive belts, and shoe soles.

Principle:

At a predetermined contact pressure and a given area, the sample and the sandpaper into a certain angle, the measurement sample at a certain level of friction generated on the abrasive wear resistance.

Sandpaper attached to the surface of the roller package, the sample is pressed against the drum with the sandpaper, so that the lateral movement of the drum sample.

Wear the sample in the cylindrical end of the generation, measurement value of the sample mass loss, calculate the volume density of the sample by the amount of wear.
