WEEM R1128 wide belts are made from the same high-performance material as our R1128 segmented belts.  

We carefully select YY-weight polyester backing with anti-static treatment, chosen for its superior cross-directional strength and dimensional stability. This waterproof cloth backing offers both stiffness and tensile strength, making it ideal for wide-width belt production. The anti-static treatment helps to reduce loading issues during sanding. R1128 is designed for heavy-duty stock removal and sanding applications.

Only premium-grade silicon carbide is used. Its extremely hard and sharp crystalline structure delivers fine, straight-edged scratch patterns. The closed-coat design ensures a high density of abrasive grains per square inch, which results in faster stock removal, longer abrasive life, and a superior finish.

WEEM R1128 wide belts are custom-made to your specifications. 
Each belt uses a durable bi-directional tape splice, with 4 joint types available based on your application needs.
