BPQ2016(PQ2020) Power Distribution Transformer Power Electronic
Transformer
A power transformer is a static electrical device. It
utilizes the principle of electromagnetic induction to convert
alternating current energy of one voltage and current into
alternating current energy of another or several voltages and
currents of the same frequency. It is mainly composed of an iron
core, windings, oil tank, cooling device, insulating bushing, tap
changer and other parts, and plays a key role in increasing or
decreasing voltage, transmitting and distributing electrical energy
in the power system.
Power transformers come in various types and
specifications, and can be selected and configured according to
different application scenarios and requirements. They are widely
used in various occasions such as power plants, substations,
industrial enterprises, and urban power grids.
Power transformers achieve efficient conversion of
electrical energy in the processes of power generation,
transmission and distribution, and have become irreplaceable core
equipment in modern power systems.
