This explosion-proof fluidized bed granulation dryer is fitted with
a pressure relief vent to protect personnel in the event of an
explosion. Mixing, granulation and drying run in one closed vessel,
so the powder is charged once and leaves as dry, free-flowing,
multi-porous spherical granules ready for the next process step.

Working PrincipleThe powdered material is fluidized in a ring and mixed with
purified heated air; an atomized binder solution aggregates
particles and the hot air continuously dries them into uniform
spherical particles, while a pressure relief vent protects the
operator.
- The powdered material is loaded into the raw material
container.
- Purified heated air is introduced, fluidizing the powder in a
ring and mixing it with the air.
- A binder solution is atomized and sprayed into the fluidized
bed.
- Several particles aggregate around the binder into
binder-containing agglomerates.
- The continuous hot air dries the agglomerates, evaporating
the moisture and solidifying the binder.
- The cycle repeats until uniform, multi-porous spherical
particles are formed.
Key Features- Equipped with a pressure relief vent to protect personnel in the
event of an explosion.
- Utilizes antistatic filter cloth for safe operation.
- One-step process integrating mixing, granulation and drying.
- Improves flowability and reduces dust emissions.
- Improves solubility through powder granulation.
- Zero dead zones with thorough cleaning, meeting GMP standards.
Structural SchematicApplicationsSuits the granulation of granules, pills and powders and the drying
of pharm, pesticides, feed, fertilizers and catalysts.
- Granulation of granules, pills and powders.
- Drying of pharm, pesticides, feed and fertilizers.
- Drying of catalysts.
Customization NotesThe pressure relief vent and the antistatic filter cloth are the
two safety features that matter most when granulating fine powders.
